The Journey so far
1981: At the time when Indian Pharma Industry was dominantly controlled by Foreign companies, the desire to serve the masses by indigenization of the industry compelled our founder Dr. K.S.Sawhney to start manufacturing and marketing and Radico Remedies was founded in 1981.
In 1981 We started with a modest portfolio of just five products which still remain our flagship products and are well-established brands consistently prescribed with confidence by reputed doctors for the last 40 years. Now over the years, we expanded our product portfolio from a modest five products to over 500 products, covering 28 segments of the trade and producing medicines in 12 galenical forms
2005: was a landmark year for us when our founder Dr. K.S.Sawhney a pioneer, and visionary, started a new Manufacturing unit in 2005 in the Excise Free Area of Himachal Pradesh the Land of deities, in the Baddi area of Solan District, apart from having benefits of Central Exemption Package this place is ideal for pharmaceutical Manufacturing due to its high-quality ground water, pollution free air in green environments and surplus interruption-free power, its also strategically located about 30 km from the smart city of Chandigarh and is well connected by Road, Train & Air.
With his philosophy of service before self Dr. K.S.Sawhney selected and motivated a team of experienced, energetic & enthusiastic young professionals, who had the capacity to take up any challenging assignment. The young team was guided and motivated to develop newer and newer formulations and increase the manufacturing prowess bringing out the most effective treatments to market. Over time, with the guidance of our great leader and his hard-working team now Radico Remedies is a well-known name in the industry in India and overseas.

2006: We started the marketing division of Radico Remedies which is serving the medical profession, especially in ORTHOPEDICS & GERIATRICS for the last 16 years providing quality health solutions.
2008: We started operations of our Corporate office and Centralised sales Depot at Sahibabad ( Delhi) thereby creating a convenient facility for our customers. This office deals with our domestic Sales and Third Party Sales
2010 : We Initially started with Oral Dosage Forms in Tablets, Capsules, and Oral Liquids, in 2010 we expanded our operations in External Applications,
2012: We further expanded our manufacturing ability to manufacture Small Volume Parenteral.
2014: We started a new retailer-oriented marketing division with 300 + products by the name Radico Lifecare which we can boast to have a network of above 250 distributors and stockists spread all over India.
2015: We entered into Government institutional business and further increased our manufacturing capabilities. We supplied medicines in large quantities to the states of Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, Andhra & Telangana.
2017: We started our new office in Panchkula to cater to our retailer Oriented marketing division and also for dealing with Third Party Sales for the convenience of local customers
2019: We lost our founder, mentor, and guide Dr. K.S.Sawhney who left for his heavenly abode on 18.05.2019, the company was taken over by Er. Vikramjit Singh Sawhney is a professional with 25 years of industry experience, and an expert in production management.
2021: We created a new QA/QC Block with facilities for Formulation Development and Research. Currently, we are working on Formulation Development and in the near future plan to start Research activities at the niche level.
We consider Pharmaceutical manufacturing as our core area of competence and intend to excel in this field to achieve our mission to use our resources to deliver safe, effective, and affordable medications to a global customer base.
